CTBUH unveils winners for 2022 Student Tall Building Design Competition

The CTBUH has unveiled the winning entries for the 2022 International Student Tall Building Design Competition, which saw five winners chosen from 59 entries. The competition called for entries that depicted multi-story buildings sited within the United States that “maximize the use and expression of mass timber.”

3XN ’s ‘upcycled’ design for the revamped Quay Quarter Tower in Sydney, Australia, has been named the winner of the Best Tall Building Worldwide 2023 title by the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat (CTBUH) as part of the annual CTBUH International Conference that was held last week in Singapore and Kuala Lumpur.
