Lake Flato Architects looks to barns for design of North Fork house

The project, called North Fork, sits within the quiet town of Peconic and is named after its location on Long Island's North Fork. For interior finishes, the team used an abundance of wood, including white-washed pine, ebonised oak, reclaimed heart pine and plywood. The kitchen is fitted with oak millwork and soapstone countertops.

BIG reveals stepped housing overlooking Aegean Sea

Danish architecture studio BIG has unveiled the design for a luxury residential building with cascading terraces named Park Rise, which will form part of the Ellinikon city masterplan near Athens.
