After scooping up the 1961 residence, aptly situated on Wood Avenue, its prideful new owners brought back its luster with a sensitive renovation. All original walnut built-ins were preserved and restored, including a built-in turn-table and tape deck with operable speakers. Every design decision was meticulously considered.

The store is located at a restored courtyard house in Beijing FOG Architecture renovated the building to reveal its original architecture, which features triangle-shaped timber roof trusses and series of wooden columns. Located in the Clinton Hill neighbourhood, the red brick facade of the house was restored to harken back to its 1873 origins, with arched windows and central garage doors painted in black. The brick facades conceal the remodelled interior of the home, with a completely new floor for the primary suite at the top of the building.
