Totalling 1,500 square feet (139 square metres), the house came with an irregular, pyramid-like roof and cedar-shingle cladding, both inside and out. Working closely with the clients, the architects set out to brighten up the interior and improve the views. On the roof, wooden shingles were replaced with black standing-seam metal.
