Work was hard to come by and we found ourselves doing mostly quick concept designs that never got off the ground. Here I was using Autocad for detailed plans, Elevations and Sections, photoshop for applying colour, Archicad for quick 3d views, acrobat for compiling everything into design brochures to submit to the client.

I currently work as a freelance artist doing mostly arch-viz, but I also enjoy product visualization and environment design. Therefore, I used a reef satellite image, made it seamless using Photoshop, and extracted height data from it using a blue filter. Usually, I use HDRI images and swap the sky in Photoshop when needed.

A Christmas ornament seemed Christmas-y enough so I sketched it up, took a picture of it with my phone, brought it into Photoshop where I added some color, and then *BOOM* … the graphic was created.
