Informed by the natural landscape of Singapore’s Jurong Lake Gardens, the new Science Centre looks to the future and maximises opportunities for visitors to interact with the surrounding gardens and lake. Older students can look forward to entering specialised labs and workshops that encourage hands-on learning of scientific concepts.

The last section of the park is a dune landscape, part of the remediation of the heavily dredged coast. Landworks worked through design development phases, with construction documentation done locally, following Saudi development norms. Native grasses, shrubs, and mangroves assist in the quiet repair. Inside, the design further emphasizes connections and crossovers between the Dental Assistant, Dental Hygiene, Medical Assistant, and EMT programs, which are arrayed across 31,280 square feet on three floors. Space for breakout groups and chance connections between students will be available throughout the building.
