Muza Lab was informed by the area's history and culture when developing the overall design scheme, as well as drawing on six natural elements – fire, water, earth, air, metal and light.

White walls line the interiors Where the roofs of the home and warehouse meet, they are connected by a red section of guttering, creating a sheltered space between the two. In the storage building, the interior has been left unlined and split into a large and small room accessed by separate entrances.
