Architecture studio All(zone) has created Under the Rain Trees, an apartment building with five curved wings nestled under tree canopies on the banks of the River Ping in rural Thailand. Under the Rain Trees was designed by All(zone) to seamlessly fit into the natural landscape without disturbing the existing trees.

US studio Olson Kundig Architects has shaded a boxy, glass office complex with aluminium screens near Atlanta's BeltLine and included a glass-clad volume to connect to buildings and frame the pedestrian paths. Curved cement-screed walls with embedded rows of vertical glass bars characterise this spa in Prague designed by local studio Formafatal. The spa's main treatment area features three rooms that are delineated by rows of perpendicular glass bars, in reference to the vertical design of the building's facade.

Characterized by light-colors and natural materials, the warm restaurant interior creates a striking contrast with its industrial setting. Within the arcing steel and glass space, HENN created three distinct spatial zones that evoke the transition from sandy dunes to pebbled shoreline.
