French studio Ciguë has elevated this timber-clad home in Saint Julien le Petit, France , above its rural site using slender, removable steel foundations. A roof has a large overhang and is supported by thin steel supports. Large full-height windows frame views out to the landscape. The structure is clad in blackened timber.
