American studio Manica Architecture and National Football League team Chicago Bears have unveiled the design of a football stadium along Lake Michigan in Chicago , drawing criticism from preservationists. A multi-story glass wall will open the north end zone to a large public plaza and a view of the Chicago skyline.

Chinese studio Wutopia Lab has used wave-shaped roofs of blue aluminium and translucent fabric to transform an industrial yard in Shanghai into a mixed-use cultural space. A fully glazed wall with a wave-like pattern fronts this space, overlooking the red-coloured square onto which it opens through golden doors.

This recently completed project located in the London Borough of Kingston Upon Thames is spread between two semi-detached Victorian properties which both sought to extend their roof spaces. The new dormer, though long, reads as four small dormers; this was carefully designed to reduce visual impact.

The Anji Culture and Art Center will be defined by a series of curving canopy roofs that were designed to look like scattered bamboo leaves. While the curving forms of the building largely reference the shape of leaves, it was also designed to echo the undulating terrain of the surrounding Anji tea-growing hills.
