Transitional and contemporary design concepts were introduced, respecting and accentuating the historical Architecture of the home. Playing off of the period painted wall wainscoting , a more contemporary white oak chevron pattern paneling was introduced at the Kitchen and banquette mill work. LED lighting throughout.

To keep the same lifestyle, it has to be contributed by the contemporary cultural venues. In the visuals, it is suggested that this roofscape will be supported by sweeping tree-like columns constructed from timber. It is scheduled to begin construction of the Nanhai Arts Center in 2024 with completion slated for 2029.

During construction, every tree was preserved, and each pod is designed to independently harvest water, contributing to a larger sustainable water management system.
