Architecture studio Zeller & Moye has collaborated with artist Katie Paterson to create Mirage, a massive sculpture made from glass cylinders for technology company Apple 's campus in California. It is meant to be experiential Mirage derives its name from the effect that the glass gives off when hit by light.

New York architecture studio HGX Design has created a linear, glass-fronted home in the Hudson Valley informed by the "individual notes of a music composition". Utility spaces, such as a powder room, laundry room and storage, were placed directly adjacent to the entry, while a long hallway leads to the entrances of three guest bedrooms.

Following the Energy Standards’ option to use glass on just 20 per cent of the exterior surface area, the limited amount of glazing is concentrated around these central outdoor areas. The coving along the ceiling is made of glass fibre-reinforced concrete from a local vendor.

A metal roof and glass facade contrast the brick station. The glass facade and skylights allow natural light into the building, while allowing a clear view of the reconstruction of the old station front from inside the building. Skylights and glass curtain walls light up the interior.
