By placing two tower volumes on a sculptural base, we give the building a robust yet friendly appearance and connect it to the smaller-scale Cityplot Buiksloterham, which lies directly across the water. The diagonal facing of the towers ensures the building’s shifting silhouette and allows for unobstructed views from each home.

The new regional offices designed by De Zwarte Hond on the Noordzeeweg, in Amsterdam Westpoort, are circular and flexible, with a timber construction. The ensemble consists of an office building, workshops, warehouses, test facilities, educational, and parking buildings (total of 21,000m²), for 700 employees.

DB55 revolves around four main pillars. Blended-use DB55 is a place for work, leisure, events, and sports, and even includes a children’s playground. In this blended venue, every square metre is used four times. The D/DOCK portfolio therefore varies in scale, from chair to city, from concept to activation, and from local to international.

The Connectors positioned on the southeast edges of the building are bright spaces with direct sunlight and expansive views over East Amsterdam. This urban playground is the most physical of the three Connectors, with a punch bag and a bouldering wall looking right over Amsterdam and the water surrounding the building.

Jonas’ is a remarkable building, located beside the port of IJburg, containing 273 apartments and a range of public and shared amenities. Forming a sustainable and inviting heart for the neighbourhood, the building enhances social cohesion in the still relatively new urban district. The building was constructed by Ballast Nedam West.

This is where diners can sit at what we believe is the largest chef’s table in Amsterdam to marvel at the culinary artists bringing the Chef’s Menu to life. It’s situated on the tip of Oosterdokseiland, a small island nestled between Central Station and the river IJ.
