Marking the start of construction works, the cornerstone has been laid at the site of the new Ülemiste Passenger Terminal in Tallinn. Providing passenger services at speeds up to 249km/h, Rail Baltica will connect Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania with the European high-speed rail network in Poland. Dutch firm UNStudio has unveiled the design for the Seoul Twin Eye spokeless Ferris wheel in Seoul , which will consist of an intersecting double-ring structure on top of a cultural complex. Construction is due to commence in 2025 with the attraction set to open in 2028.

Designs for the 63-storey skyscraper show a stepped structure rising from a plant-filled base, with a series of voids along the facade that were designed to resemble a "bamboo forest", according to the studio.
