This south London apartment celebrates historic features inherited from its time as a Victorian school. The school was converted in the 1980s and this one-bedroom bolthole has the hallmarks of its time as a classroom, with exposed yellow brick walls and handsome herringbone parquet flooring.

All rooms enjoyed high ceilings, original cornices, skirtings, architraves; and generously proportioned windows. On the south side of the apartment there was a further reception room, the kitchen, and another bedroom. The two bathrooms were typically proportioned for an Edwardian mansion flat and were small and relatively dark.
