In a new collaboration with The Conran Shop, Lina Ghotmeh has designed two new exclusive pieces of furniture for this year’s Pavilion. Crafted from oak, with a dark-red finish, the 25 tables and 57 stools will come together to complete a ceremonial display inside the Pavilion. More information here.

Abandoned sites in Sharjah, UAE , will provide a catalyst for many of these ideas, such as the old Al Jubail Vegetable Market, which closed in 2015 but was saved from demolition by SAT in 2019. Notably, the studio won the international competition to extend the Medellin Museum of Modern Art in Colombia in 2015.
