Architecture studio dMFK Architects has restored and renovated the Voysey House office in Chiswick, London , which was originally designed as a wallpaper factory by architect CFA Voysey. Voysey House stands as the only commercial building designed by the renowned architect.

Set within 42 acres of land on the banks of the Thames in Fulham, the historic private members club is centred around the grand neo-classical Hurlingham House, designed by George Byfield for John Ellis in the early 1800s, and last altered in 1906 by Sir Edwin Lutyens.

The revised application follows on from an earlier scheme that LBRuT approved, but following referral to the Greater London Authority (GLA) was turned down by Mayor Sadiq Khan despite a planning officer’s recommendation to approve.

A lush green wall and back-lit fibreglass panels are found on the exterior of an electrical substation extension that was designed by TEF Design to achieve net-zero energy consumption.
