Local architecture studio Lemay aimed to rethink the relationship between "the built and the natural" in its revamp of Théâtre de Verdure, which consists of a stage on an island and a fan-shaped seating area. The Théâtre de Verdure has been renovated by Lemay The Théâtre de Verdure, or Green Theatre, first opened in 1956.

Lemay has completed a facility dedicated to ice skating in Québec City, enclosing the full-length speed skating track with glass walls. Lemay completed the largest ice skating rink in North America. Lemay was founded in 1957, and is headquartered in Montreal. Wood ceilings are over the walkway that encircles the track.
