PAU places vaulted glass structure in shell of Brooklyn's Domino Sugar Refinery

Local architecture studio Practice for Architecture and Urbanism has installed a glass office building with a vaulted roof inside the shell of the 19th-century Domino Sugar Refinery on the waterfront in Brooklyn. Architectural details such as a large smokestack from the original structure were preserved on the facade.

Snøhetta adds glass and glulam extension to world's oldest ski museum

Architecture studio Snøhetta has extended the Holmenkollen ski museum in Oslo with a glass entrance covered in 1,207 "meticulously placed" wooden battens. A timber fence-like structure wraps around it, covered in Norwegian pine wood battens ranging from 2.5 to five metres in length, cut to minimise waste.
