Sandton Residence. A new house where the architects worked with the clients for about twelve years before they started building. The 1200sq.m. home is situated on a 4000sq.m. east sloping/facing stand though the house itself is north facing with the major rooms having the view to the east. Extensive folding aluminum screens were used both for privacy and sun control.

Bringing the ocean inside was the primary goal of interiors studio Falken Reynolds when designing this waterfront home on Vancouver Island. The modern house at the southern tip of the island in British Columbia, Canada was completed by architect Chris Foyd of local firm Bo Form for an active couple with three sons. Maximising views of the ocean was Falken Reynold's principal focus for the interiors.

Shanghai studio Atelier d'More has turned a concrete brick building outside Beijing , China, into a boutique hotel with a courtyard filled with sculptural concrete dividers. Located in Huangmuchang Village, the Sleeping Lab hotel building previously held residential housing and offices and features an enclosed courtyard typical of homes in this area.
