We organized the building’s layout, structural system, and exterior expression in accordance with the 40-foot grid that overlays the entire campus, an artifact of the mid-century planning principles that governed its initial form. Fortis Construction is the Construction Manager/General Contractor (CM/GC) for the project.

Once the design became a more linear distilled abstraction of the river concept in the schematic design phase connections to the existing streetscape and surrounding community were noticeably enhanced.
