The goal of the project was to meld two programs that are usually separate — performing arts and athletics — into one grand facility. A reception hall and art gallery connect McClaren Hall and the Stinson Family Event Center, while an outdoor amphitheater rounds out the performance and gathering spaces.

Austin State University, Nacogdoches, Texas Design: Populous photo : Morgan English Loddie Naymola Basketball Performance Center, Texas Global design firm Populous carried out the design of the LNBPC building’s interior and exterior, as well as the development of branding and graphics for the 54,000-sqf, two-story project.
