Espoo House celebrates Finland's tradition of wooden construction

Named Espoo House, the 24,000-square-mere building is intended to pay homage to Finland's history of timber construction.

Cobe and Lundén Architecture Company win competition for community and municipal building in Finland

The building is part of a larger masterplan for the so-called Espoon Keskus, one of five major urban centres in Espoo, creating a diverse neighbourhood with new residential buildings, commercial facilities, public transportation, and green urban spaces. Construction for Espoo House will begin in early 2026 and is expected to open in 2029.
