A Better Built Environment

Rather than the hectic energy of the big city - the rushing crowds, honking cars, street vendors, and rumble of subways - we were greeted with empty streets, closed stores, and a shortage of toilet paper. Plus it is built out of CLT (cross laminated timber) which is unique for a project of this scale. Families were having picnics.

On site, the method of identifying the panels is definitely old school – a fat magic marker with the panel tag written on the exterior face. SIPs are a great way to insulate a house – conventionally framed or timber framed. No lift protection, accidents.broken bones crushed heads, hand and feet…Not good.
