They way it works is that the metal cone is filled in three loads, each load being tamped down 20 times with the metal rod. The metal rod is placed across the top and a measurement is taken from the rod down to the top of the “slumping” concrete. Here is a collection of images showing a slump test being performed.

The exterior was clad in corrugated metal, prefinished in gray, which was also the color chosen for the paint of the wood columns and beams and all of the exposed trim. I’d like to see more of the interior and find out where you got the pre-finished corrugated siding. Cheers Kerry Hogue nice work.

On site, the method of identifying the panels is definitely old school – a fat magic marker with the panel tag written on the exterior face. link] Bob Borson We found some during a research period a number of years ago that used metal facing – but even on a $800/sf house, it was crazy expensive.
