Designed for a couple who formerly lived in New York, the Black Fox Ranch project is located in the Jackson Hole valley in western Wyoming. CLB Architects gave the home a long, low roof To design the project, the team drew upon the site's history as a working cattle ranch. The photography is by Matthew Millman and Kevin Scott.

The project is named after the street it was built on, Monte Tauro, in the high-end Lomas de Chapultepec neighbourhood. The area is an established residential enclave that lies west of the Bosque de Chapultepec, one of the city's main parks. PPAA designed the house in Mexico City. Four bedrooms also feature in the house.

Based on the client’s desire to live in a single-story house, the 600 m2 of constructed area were conceived from an integrated social area, where all the environments are interconnected. The biggest challenge, according to Gilda Meirelles, was the implementation, due to the premise of being a single-story house on a sloping terrain.
