As mandated by the client for economy, the entire building is concrete rather than glass like other local office buildings. Floor-to-ceiling storefront windows create natural light. Each office level contains a covered deck set back from the main facade, and the buildings are topped by open-air roof terraces.

A pitched roof was designed in the same vein, with tile roofing typical to the local architecture. A raw steel beam serves as a gutter, jutting out beyond the base of the roof. The new building reinterprets the simple, unadorned nature of a traditional barn through its choice of materials.
