Cucadellum Tibidabo New Funicular, Barcelona, Spain

The new train features a completely revamped high-end design, resembling a glow-worm, with larger glass surfaces on both sides and the roof. The funicular’s design has been completely renewed and personalized, significantly enhancing the experience for riders and allowing them to interact with the attraction.

One of the challenges while designing this area was to achieve a cozy space despite its amplitude and that the furniture pieces were not left loose. The most notable piece is a custom-designed central structure that may be used as a dining table and, at the same time, acts as the fourth step of the staircase leading to the roof.
