SIPs are a high performance building system where the interior structural portion of the wall is assembled like an ice cream sandwich using a 7/16″ layer of oriented strand board (OSB) as the outside of the sandwich, and in our case, a 5 1/2″ interior cavity filled with styrofoam, which would be the ice cream.

This article describes my recent international flight, its surreal aspects and the impacts of the pandemic on airports and their cities. Global mobility has morphed into "stay at home". It is part of a series which tries to gauge the future of cities. In the year after opening the airport served 50,846 passengers. compared to April 2019.
