When I first started architecture school as a freshman in college, I didn’t have the focus or maturity I needed to tackle the curriculum and I ended up having a serious identity crisis when I was 19 years old. And in addition to practicing architecture, Marilyn has worked as a construction project manager or contractor and an estimator. She has lectured on her research and has been a guest critic at Northeastern University, Boston Architectural College, and University of Virginia, UC Berkeley, Harvard, GSD, you name it.
