The renovation and expansion of Weiser Hall repurposes the mid-century ten-storey tower to create a dynamic learning environment for interdisciplinary study and exchange. The central idea is to sandwich a 1400 sqft three-story plywood box between two metal-clad walls: this plywood box is then suspended a full story above ground level.
