The tops of the boxes form a series of terraces, connected by stairs and bridges, that serve to enliven this public area within the museum, enabling performances, large-scale installations, or events. The outer façade of the museum is permeable, allowing breezes to penetrate the structure.

When fully opened to 270 degrees, the space can accommodate larger events such as performances and ceremonies. Large, hinging translucent panels transform the space, creating three classrooms when closed. When the panels are opened 90 degrees, they create a large meeting hall to accommodate the community.
