The Curve @ West Angeles Senior Apartments is a new affordable senior housing community set to rise near the intersection of Crenshaw Boulevard and 54th Street.
Designed by KFA, the 52,777-sf, five-story building will consist of 40 low-income units, 29 very-low-income units, and one market rate manager’s unit. The complex includes a total of 70 units. Also included is a linear courtyard for active walking that is open on both ends to allow for plentiful natural light and air.

The design of The Curve @ West Angeles was inspired by the Crenshaw Corridor’s history of 1930s and 1940s Art Deco architecture, according to John Arnold, AIA, KFA Partner.
The development will be located just two blocks north of the Crenshaw/Slauson Station in Park Mesa Heights, which is currently under construction and slated for opening in 2019. The development is a project of the West Angeles Community Development Corporation and Related Companies of California.
