Imagine waking up in nature with a picture perfect view at your feet. Well, imagine no more thanks to the latest pop-top camper offering by Rossmönster. The Colorado-based company has designed a truck topper with a hard shell and two large window panes at either end. Named ‘The Lagom Series’, the camper takes inspiration from a Swedish word meaning ‘just the right amount’ – not too much, not too little.

Described by Rossmönster as an ‘ideal and beautifully understated adventure companion’, Lagom is geared towards versatility and capability. The shell’s hard-walled folding system folds down flat for driving then is quickly set up once stationary. The design allows full access to the truck bed while adding a spacious living area up top. What’s more, the window panels easily swing open and close so you can get even closer to nature, and there’s also screens for when you need privacy.

Lagom Specs

The pop-up camper features a hard-sided aluminum construction with folding wall system, front and rear window panes, up to 200W of solar power, and secured and locking latches for all access points. The design also offers access to the rear and sides of truck bed and open access from camper to truck bed.

As for the inside, Lagom comes with upholstered wall panels and a full size 2″ thick mattress. The basic package is priced at $14,000 but extras can also be added for another $3,000 including dimmable LED dome lighting, a MaxxAir fan, and a Goal Zero power system. The company also offers an ‘Expedition Package’ for $4,000 with an exterior ladder, Custom Molle panels, Roof rails and LED light bar.

Lagom is currently compatible for Ford F150, Jeep Gladiator and Toyota Tacoma trucks but Rossmönster says it has other models in the works and coming soon.
