QuantumFlush is a WC flushing technology of unprecedented smoothness and its creator,  Turkish brand VitrA, will be presenting it at the upcoming ISH in Frankfurt. What lies behind this piece of engineering art is a flushing process based on the principle of laminar flow.

The water flows steadily but without energy loss through the oval, on an optimally curved line into every angle

In fluid mechanics, this means that liquid particles move past each other evenly in layers without mixing. A corresponding component, which is located behind the three clearly visible openings on the upper side rim of the toilet bowl, converts the turbulent property of the water into a laminar flow. As a result, the water flows steadily but without energy loss through the oval, on an optimally curved line into every angle. Water consumption of 3 or 6 litres corresponds to today's standard.

But that is not all. The rinsing principle also automatically ensures that less water splashes than is the case with conventional rinsing systems – a not inconsiderable hygiene advantage, as  ultimately fewer particles are distributed in the room in this way, to which bacteria, for example, adhere.

And while you are at VitrA's presentation space at the ISH fair to see QuantumFlush's outstanding performance for yourself, make sure to listen out for another of its benefits. This particular flush system may be powerful, but it is also a quiet one – again as a result of the laminar flow principle. Put simply: fewer turbulent collisions also mean less noise. As we said, a real milestone!

At ISH in Frankfurt, VitrA can be found in Hall 3.1, Stand C47 / C49.
