For the past 10 years, The Architect’s Newspaper has crowned the top products from manufacturers, designers, engineers, and artisans in our annual Best of Products Awards. The program, now accepting submissions for 2024, is back in search of the best inventions in the built environment, from sustainable building materials to handcrafted textiles and decorative yet powerful lighting systems.

This year the awards are open to any product available to designers and architects in North America. In addition, there are a total of 34 categories for 2024’s competition. These include Acoustics; Appliances; Building Materials & Facades; Finishes & Surfaces; Furnishings (indoor, outdoor, textiles, and more); Hardware; Lighting (systems, outdoor, and fixtures); Windows & Doors; Roofing; and Technology.

An exciting panel of experts, which will be announced in the coming weeks, will analyze entries based on aesthetics, sustainability, and innovation. Many winners from last year’s program, for instance, included products geared toward sustainability, improved hygiene and lifestyle choices, the needs of communities, and affordability.

The submission form is short and sweet, requiring short written components (a product description, technical details, and a description of use), as well as visual components (up to five photos, renderings, or drawings). Early Bird registration is currently open until May 24 at midnight ET for reduced entry. Submissions overall are open until July 12.
