The new Virginia Treatment Center for Children, part of the Virginia Commonwealth University Medical Center, is one of the largest free-standing children’s mental health centers in the United States. The child-specific center uses design elements to both destigmatize behavioral and mental healthcare and support healing.

The U.S. Construction Pipeline kicked off the first quarter of 2018 with 5,255 Projects/636,174 Rooms, up 4% by projects and 6% by rooms Year-Over-Year (YOY), according to analysts at Lodging Econometrics (LE). In comparison to the highest Pipeline level recorded by LE, the current quarter is just 628 Projects/149,373 Rooms, or 11% beneath the peak which occurred in Q208.

ASHRAE Standard 209-2018, Energy Simulation Aided Design for Buildings except Low Rise Residential Buildings , defines minimum requirements for energy design assistance using building energy simulation and analysis. The standard defines consistent energy modeling procedures to analyze the impact of design decisions.

In 2015, they broke ground on a 56,000-square-foot office building to accommodate an increasing number of customers and employees. Nonresidential construction spending declined 0.3% in March, according to an Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) analysis of U.S. Census Bureau data recently released. Nonresidential spending, which totaled $740.9 billion on a seasonally adjusted, annualized basis, has expanded 2.5% on a year-over-year basis. February’s spending estimate was revised roughly $10 billion higher, from $732.8 billion to $742.8 billion, rendering the March decline less meaningful.

According to Crain’s Detroit Business , Edsel Ford II said the company’s board of directors was made aware of plans to purchase the infamously abandoned station as part of a redevelopment of Corktown. EnergyPlus 8.9.0 includes the ability to accept input in a JSON (Java Script Object Notation) format called epJSON. epJSON is derived from the existing IDF format and shares its object structure.
