On July 25, Lendlease moved into its new global headquarters, Tower Three of the 277,200-sm International Towers Sydney in the Sydney, Australia, suburb of Barangaroo. These towers are in the process of becoming the first buildings certified under the International WELL Building Institute’s Core and Shell health and wellness standard. Tower Three is shooting for Platinum, IWBI’s highest certification level. .

There is a detail we have in our cabin project that I am anxious to see built. Within the two-story stairwell along the main wall, we are cladding the surface with 16 gauge steel plating. I get all tingly just thinking about it. Here is a building section through the cabin and I have taken the liberty of shading the portion of the drawing where the steel plate will be installed.

Mount Horeb Driftless Historium. This 15,000 square foot, 1.8 million dollar home for the Mount Horeb Area Historical Society (MHAHS), the ‘ Driftless Historium’ serves as a repository for the local history of the town and surrounding area.
