Brazil has turned a corner in its yearslong National Museum restoration project

Four years after a devastating blaze wiped out the majority of its incredible 20 million-object collection, the rebuilding of Brazil’s fire-damaged National Museum has reached an important construction milestone in Rio de Janeiro. According to The Art Newspaper , local firms Velatura Restaurações and Construtora Biapó have now completed the restoration of the historic facade and expect the building to be completely reopened sometime in 2027.

The award-winning Press Club serves as an urban tasting room in the heart of downtown San Francisco, where guests can sample an array of vintages and varietals. The 9,000 SF venue is located within San Francisco’s Four Seasons hotel on Yerba Buena Lane. The entry level’s retail display entices the visitor inside to browse, and then reveals a grand stair to a subterranean level tasting lounge.

Luxe watchmaker Audemars Piguet has opened its first hotel in the heart of the Swiss watchmaking country, fittingly called Hotel des Horlogers. This has translated into many of the streets have upwards of 6 lanes. Zaytinya NYC restaurant by Rockwell Group "transports" diners to the Mediterranean

Blue glass discs, hand-painted linen pendants and ombre curtains were combined by design studio Rockwell Group to evoke the Mediterranean coast at this restaurant in New York City. Zaytinya opened in July 2022 inside the new Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Manhattan's NoMad district, housed within a tower designed by Rafael Viñoly. Zaytinya's interior features a screen of two-toned blue discs behind the bar.

This week Aedas unveiled the "most twisted tower in the world"

This week on Dezeen , architecture studio Aedas revealed Dance of Light, an office skyscraper in China that has two double-curved facades that make it appear twisted. The skyscraper has a "twisting angle" of up to 8.8 degrees per floor, which makes it the "most twisted tower in the world," according to the studio. Built in the Jiangbei District of Chongqing, Dance of Light's curved shape was informed by the shape of the northern lights.
