Glen Podcast The Importance of Networking and Building Relationships with Glen Urena Podcast

Growing up in Queens in the 80s, Glen Urena didn’t have any idea that he wanted to become an architect. In fact, what he wanted to do at the time was play baseball.

It was a visit to a school of architecture before he graduated high school that gave Glen his first view of what learning about architecture could be like. He was particularly impressed with what he observed of the studio experience and the collaborative atmosphere that he saw there.

In today’s episode, Glen explains what architecture school was like for him, what he did after architecture school, and how he transitioned into his own business. You’ll also hear him discuss the ARE boot camp, the Young Architect conference, and what he sees next in his own future.
