Billionaire Boys Club’s new Miami flagship is designed by Snarkitecture

Art installations and huge exterior murals at this Billionaire Boys Club store carry the unmistakable imprint of New York design studio Snarkitecture.

The clothes label, founded by Pharrell Williams and fashion designer Nigo, has taken over a vast warehouse in Wynwood, brightening the space by adding windows and a new arch-shaped entrance to the building. Shoppers are immediately greeted by Snarkitecture artworks, from the two huge trompe l’oeil wall paintings – one showing a clock caught in fabric, and the other a draped statue – to the astronaut mosaic over the door.

The spaceman motif, which is a regular feature on Billionaire Boys Club clothes and merch, is repeated inside the store, in the form of a blue astronaut sculpture – part of Snarkitecture founder Daniel Arsham’s ongoing Modern Artifact series. The store’s illuminated ceiling is reflected in his polished face plate.

The space blends these futuristic elements with industrial features, showing clothes on mint-green cages, made using reclaimed materials.
