If you’re looking to tap into the high-desert life of Marfa, Texas, this newly renovated home may be of interest. Dating back to 2005, the property includes two dwellings designed by two different architecture firms: one by Tucson-based Dust and the other by Berkeley-based Rael san Fratello.

"Each structure has its own purpose, with its own sense of place," says current owners Lindy Thorsen and Terry Mowers, who are selling the property to be closer to family on the East Coast. "We’re going to miss the incredible quiet of this place, as there is nothing better for contemplation and reflexion."

Upon entering the main structure, a long hallway leads to the primary living spaces, where a chef’s kitchen seamlessly merges with the dining area. Large windows and sliding glass doors frame the surrounding mountain views, while also drawing in ample natural light.
