Maryland reveals Francis Scott Key Bridge replacement design: 'A beacon of perseverance'

The Maryland Transportation Authority and Governor’s Office have released renderings of the planned Francis Scott Key Bridge replacement along with a projected opening date of 2028. A less-known masterpiece of the midcentury style, Rudolph Schindler ’s Druckman Residence in the Hollywood Hills of Los Angeles , has hit the market for just under $3.3 million. The design from 1941 is part of the Outpost Estates and has a total of three bedrooms with two and a half baths tucked inside a 1,662-square-foot envelope. Schindler completed the home the same year he designed the better-known Goodwin House not far from it in Studio City.
