The Architect’s Newspaper’s Best of Practice Awards is open for 2024, and a new year brings with it new categories. The award celebrates the companies that create our built environment, considering not just which businesses are creating meaningful work, but also how these practices are run. With submissions open from now until April 19, this year’s Best of Practice crowns the top offices in the architecture, engineering, and construction industry even more expansively than before.

The new 2024 categories include Acoustic Consultant and Engineer, Developer, Graphic Design & Wayfinding, Photography Studio, Render & Visualization, Structural Engineer, Sustainability Consultant, Interior Designer, and Technology.

These come in addition to the categories from previous years: Architect (XL Firm) (100+ Employees); Architect (Large Firm) (50-99 employees); Architect (Medium Firm) (10-49 employees); Architect (Small Firm) (Under 10 Employees); Architect (New Firm); and Landscape Architect. The architecture and interior design categories are further divided based on region: Northeast, Southeast, Midwest, Southwest, West, Canada, and Mexico.

In addition to expanding the program to recognize all the engineers, creatives, and studios that contribute to the built environment, this year’s awards recognizes burgeoning talent in the industry with a new discount for emerging firms. Use code EMERGING2 at checkout to receive a reduced rate.
