Architizer is thrilled to announce the launch of the inaugural Architizer Vision Awards, a global awards program designed to celebrate the world’s best creators in architectural representation and media. The awards will recognize outstanding work in architectural photography, videography, visualizations, drawings and physical models, with 17 categories and more than 40 prestigious awards on offer.

In addition to receiving recognition from our cast of renowned jurors and international media, Vision Awards Winners will see their work published in print in the stunning, full-color “Visions of Architecture” anthology. Video winners will have their films premiered in Architecture Film Fest, a unique online event to be held in the Fall of 2023.

The Vision Awards offers a powerful opportunity for studios, individuals/professionals and students to gain a major accolade for their work, with dedicated awards reserved for each of these three groups. If you possess a passion for visualizing our built environment, you could win a 2023 Vision Award.

The Vision Award categories are divided into two main groups:

The Vision Categories celebrate every aspect of architectural representation, from early sketches and conceptual renderings to photographs and videos of a built project, as well as awards for physical models.

  • Best Architectural Photograph (4 categories: Exterior, Interior, Urban, Landscape)
  • Best Architectural Visualization (3 categories: Photorealistic, Illustrative/Artistic, AI-Generated)
  • Best Architectural Drawing (2 categories: Hand-drawn, Computer-aided)
  • Best Architectural Video (2 categories: Long-form, Short-form)
  • Best Architecture Model (Special category for physical models)

Entrants are allowed to submit work for multiple categories across both Vision and Creator Categories, as long as they meet the eligibility requirements for each category. The more entries you submit, the higher your chances of earning an accolade!

Get Published and Connect With Industry Leaders

The Vision Awards provides a unique opportunity to see your work published in print. Featuring every Winner in the image-based categories, the limited edition “Visions of Architecture” anthology will serve as a powerful source of inspiration for designers worldwide. Additionally, the winners in the video categories will have their videos and animations premiered at Architizer’s inaugural Architecture Film Festival, a one-of-a-kind online event scheduled for the autumn of 2023.

Each winning entrant will receive a complimentary copy of the Visions of Architecture anthology to add to their bookshelf, desk or portfolio. Winners will also receive:

  • Inclusion in the Official Winners’ Gallery, Winners’ Announcement and custom coverage on Architizer.com.
  • Digital Winners’ Certificate, badges and other custom assets to promote and celebrate your achievement.
  • Publication on Architizer’s social media channels, home to a design community of 4M+.
  • Exclusive access to Architizer’s invite-only Visions of Architecture LinkedIn Group, to be launched at the conclusion of the inaugural program.
