The Free Architecture Guide of Munich (PDF)

Munich – Bavaria’s capital since 1506 – is a city with layers and layers of history. Its many years as a rising architectural epicentre have left an interesting and unique mix of buildings. From Middle Age churches and cathedrals to contemporary synagogues. From skyscrapers to small pavilions. Brutalism to Art Nouveau. Munich’s architecture is truly extensive and marvellous.

Special thanks to Frauke from Simply Munich and my friend Philipp Heer with whom we organised the trip to this delightful area of Germany. Anything interesting in terms of architecture is here. If you find any mistakes, or have any suggestions please let me know in the comments. My intention is to keep it useful. I hope you enjoy!
