Natural stone, metal, wood, glass, leather and now fabric: since Dr Peter Draenert created the first table out of a slab of 180 million-year-old Swabian oil shale that he found in a barn and chrome skids that he made himself at an uncle’s metalworking firm, the Swabian furniture business’s offering has expanded considerably. It reflects the conviction of the founder’s son, Patric Draenert, who has been guiding the company’s fortunes since 2002, that a piece of furniture is an expression of its owner’s personality.

This is also reflected in the new textile offering, which consists of four top-quality fabric collections that can be used to cover the chairs made by the in-house upholstery workshop and are the perfect complement to the existing range of leathers.
