Traditional materials and building techniques "celebrate the essence" of south Indian architecture at Telugu Medium, a restaurant in Hyderabad by local practice Sona Reddy Studio. A fire has broken out at the 17th-century Børsen building in Copenhagen , Denmark, causing its iconic dragon tail-shaped spire to collapse. The fire at the building, which was once the city's stock exchange, began early this morning with the 56-metre-tall spire collapsing around 8:30am local time. Built in 1615, the Renaissance-style building is one of the most famous buildings in the Danish capital.

New updates have been shared recently by the Los Angeles Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA), charting progress on the $750 million new David Geffen Galleries from Peter Zumthor that is expected to finish construction by the end of this year. According to the museum's most recent April 5th update, interior walls and exterior glazing are being installed on the site’s western side, facing north to Wilshire Boulevard.

The Vessel viewpoint by Thomas Heatherwick is expected to reopen in New York this year, shrouded by steel netting to prevent people from jumping from its platforms. It follows the closure of the structure in Hudson Yards in August 2021, after a 14-year-old boy became the fourth person to die there by suicide. The Barbican has debuted a new large-scale public art installation from Ghanaian-born artist Ibrahim Mahama. His site-specific piece Purple Hibiscus, named in reference to the 2003 novel by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, is installed on the facade of the Barbican’s central Lakeside Terrace. It uses approximately 21,500 square feet of fuschia-hued cloth that contrasts dramatically with the rough concrete exterior and overcast London sky.

Japanese architect Shigeru Ban has created a pavilion from paper tubes, wood and milk crates to mark the 75th anniversary of US architect Philip Johnson's Glass House in Connecticut , USA. Created in collaboration with students from New York university Cooper Union , the 13.5 foot by 13.5 foot (4.1 meters by 4.1 metres) structure was built within the site of Johnson 's historic house.

Vancouver-based lighting company A-N-D has showcased two collections at Alcova during Milan design week , adapting its chandeliers to be placed on the floor to respect the historic setting.
