A 200-year-old townhouse in Mahón has been restored and transformed into an eight-room hotel , and it still bears the traces of its storied past. Architect Emma Martí oversaw the building’s renovation, preserving as many of the historic details as possible. Wooden beams and patterned tiles are, mostly, completely original, with modern counterparts chosen to replace any missing elements that couldn’t be rescued.
