In the end, he gifted each one of us a book about his large-scale projects and sent us to the steel shop where they were fabricating the Las Vegas "Flashlight." He was particularly influential on urban design, siting projects, and pop art. I feel very privileged to have met such great artists in my fourth year in architecture school.

The Highrises Collection

What caught my eye was a collection of his stunning images of Art Deco towers, part of a larger project to document historic skyscrapers across the USA entitled the Highrises Collection. Chris’s visual art developed alongside his growing skills as a designer, and this architectural influence is integral to his work.
